Costume skating tips

Can I wear a costume on the ice?

At Halloween-themed sessions, usually yes. Skip floor-length capes, masks that block your view, and loose props that could fall on the ice. Check each rink's rules before you go.

Do I need to book ahead?

Some rinks sell themed sessions in advance and they can fill up. Use the official link on each event to check admission and availability.

Are these events for beginners?

Most Halloween public skates are open to all levels. Class activities and recitals are for enrolled skaters or spectators, as noted on each event.

Event details come from each rink's public pages and can change. Open Ice is an independent directory — confirm times, admission and costume rules with the rink before you go.
